SERVICE TO GOD IN OUR YOUTHFULNESS

In Everything We Teach and Do, the World is Watching
The world is constantly observing our actions, and one day, we will be held accountable for them. Similarly, God is watching us closely, even between the lines.
What are you doing, friend?
A time will come when you will say, “I no longer enjoy life,” because your strength will fade. As Ecclesiastes 12:3 says, your legs will no longer support you, and your body will begin to weaken—your teeth may even fall out (Ecclesiastes 12:4).

But remember this: remember your God now, so that when that time comes, He will remember you.
You will no longer be able to climb high places, and your desires will fade away. So, remember your Creator while you still have the strength and resources to enjoy life (Ecclesiastes 12:6; Deuteronomy 8:18). Don’t wait until your wealth is gone or your sources of provision dry up, for you may not enjoy life by then.

Everyone experiences dark times, whether in youth or old age.
As Ecclesiastes 11:8 reminds us: “However many years anyone may live, let them enjoy them all. But remember the days of darkness, for they will be many. Everything to come is meaningless.”

I particularly appreciate verse 6: “Sow your seed in the morning, and in the evening, let your hands not be idle, for you do not know which will succeed, whether this or that, or whether both will do equally well.”

Light is sweet, and it pleases the eyes.
Psalm 119:105 says: “Your word is a lamp for my feet, and a light on my path.” The NET Bible puts it this way: “Your word is a lamp to walk by, and a light to illumine my path.” In the Study Bible, verse 104 emphasizes: “I gain understanding from your precepts; therefore I hate every false way.” Verse 105 continues: “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path,” and verse 106 affirms: “I have sworn and confirmed that I will keep your righteous judgments.”

Without light, we face difficulties because our eyes cannot see well—we are used to light.
So, while you are young, remember your Creator and enjoy the light. Use this time to develop and pursue the visions you hope to achieve. According to 1 John 1:5 and 1 John 1:7, God is light; in Him, there is no darkness at all. Those who walk with God must stay in the light. If we walk in the light, we will fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus will purify us from all sin.

Friends, let us learn to walk in the light from this moment onward, in Jesus’ name.

Salvation is Needed – A Call for Salvation

“Lord Jesus, thank You for the word I have heard through Your servant. Help me to follow Your ways and make Your word a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path. Today, I have decided to follow You for the rest of my life. As You lead me, I accept this gift of salvation that comes through the mighty name of Jesus Christ. I believe, God, that You have received me back into Your kingdom, forever. Amen.”
